Did you know? If you access the Internet without having a firewall
turned on, your computer could be attacked by hackers, viruses,
spyware and adware.
You should at least have a software-based firewall installed on
your computers and turned on, before making the connection to the
Internet. The best Internet protection you can get for computers
is a hardware-based firewall, also known as a router. Routers hide
your computers from the Internet by implementing network address
translation (NAT).
Occassionally, you will need to turn off the firewall to find out
if it is the cause of problems with your network or internet access.
If you discover the firewall is blocking access to your network
resources or the Internet, then you will need to properly
configure the firewall to allow access to your resources. Be
sure to turn the firewall back on as soon as the problem is solved.
Do not stay connected to the Internet for
long periods of time while the firewall is off!
Follow the steps below to shutdown the eTrust Personal
Firewall.

How to Shutdown
the eTrust Personal Firewall
Firewalls are a good thing, but if they are not properly
configured, they can cause a lot of frustration. Instead
of shutting the firewall down, you should first properly
configure it. If you are still having problems after properly
configuring the firewall,
then shut it down to test whether it is causing the problem.
You cannot disable or turn off the eTrust Personal Firewall.
You have to completely shut it down.
Don't forget to restart the firewall after
troubleshooting the problem.
Connect your computers together to backup or share your files between them. It's easy, it's fast, and best of all, it's guaranteed to work or your money is refunded back to you! No corporate red-tape, no if, ands or buts. If the tutorial does not work to your satisfaction, just forward me a copy of your PayPal receipt, and within a day or two your refund will be issued. Your total satisfaction is what counts to me! So, go ahead and try the tutorial risk-free.
