How to Access the Control Panel in Microsoft® Windows® XP

Here's how to access the Control Panel in Microsoft® Windows® XP:

Step 1: With the left mouse button, click on the 'Start' button.

Step 2: With the left mouse button, click on 'Control Panel'.

In Windows® XP, your Control Panel window can be displayed in two different views (Category view or Classic view).

In Category view, there are nine categories (beginning with 'Appearance and Themes').

(With the left mouse button, click on 'Switch to Classic View' to quickly change views.)

Classic View (All control panel icons are displayed)
(With the left mouse button, click on 'Switch to Category View' to quickly change views.)
