Did you know? Firewalls can block you from accessing your own shared folders and files!

Firewalls are great, but if not properly configured, they can cause many problems on a network. For instance, programs and games that used to work fine begin to start crashing (freezing) the computer, computers start disappearing from the network, and shared folders/files can no longer be accessed ('Access denied',. '... is not accessible', and 'You might not have permission...', 'Contact the administrator...', printing over the network stops working, etc.). Properly configure your firewall to avoid these problems.
