How to Prevent Windows® Messenger from Starting Automatically and Appearing in Your System Tray (part 4)

Step 7: With the left mouse button, click on the Close button 'Close' button to close the 'Windows Messenger' program.

 

Step 8: With the left mouse button, click on the 'Start' button.

 

Step 9: With the left mouse button, click on the 'Turn Off Computer' button.

 

Step 10: With the left mouse button, click on the 'Restart' button.

 
This concludes this tutorial.
 
Windows® Messenger will no longer start automatically and the Windows® Messenger icon will no longer appear in your System Tray area.
